Do I need a VanityOps software subscription to work with Studios?
No. VanityOps Studios and VanityOps software are separate offers. You can work with Studios for your website without subscribing to VanityOps software, and the reverse is also true.
What is included in the monthly fee, and what is scoped separately?
Your plan includes an agreed amount of request time, hosting, maintenance, and direct access to the team responsible for your site. Initial strategy, content migration, integrations, commerce builds, and launch work are defined and agreed before the engagement begins.
How do we request changes once the site is live?
Requests go through one shared channel with the team that built your site, inside your plan's monthly request capacity. Higher tiers include more capacity and a faster delivery cadence.
How is the right tier decided?
We look at content volume, the complexity of the experience, the technology involved, and how much ongoing support you need each month, then recommend the smallest scope that can do the job well.
Do you build online stores?
Yes. Commerce is a custom-scoped tier for catalogs, transactions, subscriptions, and other selling operations. Pricing depends on your specific commerce needs.
Is there a setup fee or minimum commitment?
Initial design, build, and setup have a separate project fee, quoted for your scope and approved before work begins. There is no single fixed setup fee. Ongoing managed care is month-to-month, with no long-term minimum commitment.
What is the monthly update allowance?
Essential includes 1 hour, Advance includes 3 hours, and Pro includes 6 hours of requested content, design, or development changes per month. Commerce capacity is agreed in its quote. Managed hosting and routine technical maintenance are separate from this allowance. Unused hours do not roll over. We agree priorities and estimate larger requests before starting; work beyond the allowance needs a separate approved quote.
How does cancellation work?
You can cancel ongoing managed care with 30 days’ written notice. Service ends at the end of the first monthly billing period that falls at least 30 days after your notice. There is no long-term contract. Any separately approved project work remains payable under its agreed scope.
What do we own if we leave?
You own your domain, your supplied content, and the custom design and code created specifically for you once the agreed fees for that work are paid. On cancellation, we provide those paid-for deliverables for handover. Third-party software, fonts, images, and reusable tools remain subject to their own licences. Managed hosting and ongoing care end with the service; replacement hosting and any migration work are arranged separately.
